From 1 May 2025, a mobility tax of € 0.50 per person will be levied. This will be used to obtain the Salzburg Verkehr Guest Mobility Ticket (free for children), which is a standardised ticket for all overnight guests in the province of Salzburg. It is issued directly at check-in at the accommodation. It is valid for all public transport in the province of Salzburg for the duration of your stay.

This includes city transport, regional bus transport, suburban trains, regional trains, long-distance trains and micro public transport. As with the KlimaTicket Salzburg, dogs can travel free of charge. The Salzburg Transport Guest Mobility Ticket is valid for all overnight guests in the province of Salzburg for the entire duration of their stay.
