It was our first time at the Felsenhof and it was wonderful. It's a real family hotel where you feel very comfortable. The food is very child-friendly and also very varied. The wellness facilities are just right and offer a bit of everything. We had a wonderful time there and will definitely be back.

Clean, sophisticated rooms with their own children's washbasin, very friendly staff, excellent food. The Dachstein family suite has two separate bedrooms and a separate toilet/bathroom. The bathroom has an extra children's washbasin, a bathtub and a rainforest shower. A huge balcony offers a magnificent view, which you can even enjoy from your bed. The mattresses and bed linen ensure a very good night's sleep. The cuisine is impressive, with a sumptuous breakfast and lunch buffet. The 6-course evening menu is excellent and, unusually, you can choose from four main courses. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The city of Salzburg is about a 50-minute drive from the hotel and offers countless excursion possibilities. The wellness and spa areas are very appealing and clean. The same goes for the outdoor and indoor pools. Various massages, pedicures and cosmetic treatments are offered. Appointments are necessary for these services.

Our stay at the Felsenhof Children's Hotel was simply wonderful – it couldn't have been better! Everything was always clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were particularly impressed by the varied children's programme, which you could easily sign up for the day before – our children had a great time! The food was fantastic, with plenty of choice, lovingly prepared and something for every taste. An absolute highlight was the pony riding, which was unforgettable for the little ones! The heated outdoor pool with panoramic views was also a delight, and we used it every day. We particularly enjoyed the ‘child-free day’, when the children were picked up directly from their rooms and spent an exciting day at the Kids Club. This allowed us parents to relax and enjoy the wellness area. A big plus: nappies, bibs, baby food, everything was provided! The children could eat at any time, which made the stay particularly stress-free. The many crafts our children made are wonderful memories. Nothing was missing. We are grateful for this special time and are already looking forward to our next holiday at the Felsenhof. Highly recommended – simply the best!

We stayed here for two weeks in August and were not only pleasantly surprised but also very impressed. Great service, from reception to the restaurant and all other amenities. In the restaurant, you have the same table and almost the same waiter throughout your stay, which creates a friendly atmosphere. The menus for parents (choice of four different dishes the evening before) are really tasty and varied. Children can also choose these if they wish. However, there is always something for them on the kids' menu. The selection of drinks is also varied and there is something for everyone (and every budget). The childcare staff were also all super friendly. The trips to the nearby petting zoo with pony rides and the morning swimming with games were particularly good. There was always something for our two children (aged 4 and 11) to do (registration by 8 p.m. the evening before). The location is good, with a clear swimming lake less than a 5-minute walk away, and the surrounding mountain railways are also within easy reach by car. The village, with its numerous shopping facilities, is less than 5-10 minutes away by car or free bicycle hire. The heated pool with plenty of sun loungers on the sunny roof terrace offers a pleasant experience even on cooler and cloudy summer days. Drinks and food may be taken onto the terrace on plastic glasses and plates. The wellness and massage area with gym is small but nice, and the spa staff were very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of things to do in the hotel's own playground, numerous board games are available to borrow, and you have a good view of the little ones from the terrace. Regular daytime and evening events (marshmallow roasting, chocolate fondue, bubble party, hike to the nearby castle with fairy tale hour) for the family also take place here. Also worth mentioning is the free laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer. There are also bicycles (e-bikes for a fee), helmets and trailers, and numerous discounts in connection with the Flachaucard, which you receive upon arrival. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back. We can recommend this hotel for children up to about 12 years of age without hesitation.

After staying for three days, we have already booked for next year, which I think speaks for itself. Everything in this hotel is very well thought out, from the excellent quality of the food and the organisation on site to the childcare, rooms, outdoor areas and so on. What we found very positive was that the guests are well distributed, so you never feel that it is overcrowded, either in the spa area, in the pools or at mealtimes. We really liked the great concept of always having a fixed table for breakfast and dinner! We will miss the food very much – it was simply fantastic! Our son felt at home straight away, which also speaks volumes for the pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. He didn't want to leave the childcare centre – everything was perfect here too. The massages were amazing – well done! We also really liked the saunas. The staff were always very friendly and hard-working, everything is very clean and tidy, and the facilities are really great, modern and inviting. We will become regular guests and are already looking forward to our next visit 😊 Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Well thought out for children, but adults can also completely relax and unwind. I was particularly impressed by the service, especially in the restaurant. Incredibly friendly and helpful. Always on the same level as the children. It was always a pleasure to go out for a meal with my son. Everything else was also to our complete satisfaction and the price is more than justified for the hotel. We will definitely be back next year.

Everything has been thought of – the children's play areas, both indoors and outdoors, are perfect. Now even more beautiful after the renovation than it was two years ago :)! Thank you for still offering such good value for money these days – I haven't found anything like it in Germany. We booked again for next year as soon as we left 💟

My son (7) cried when we drove home. He loved it so much and only wants to go to Felsenhøf from now on 😅 But I can only agree with him. When booking, you could see a floor plan of each room and choose the one that best suited your needs as a family. When we arrived, we were given a really warm welcome. As soon as we entered, it was clear that this house is all about play and the children are little kings here. I can only say good things about the receptionists. They really were able to help us with everything (but we didn't have much to complain about - why would we?) and were extremely friendly. The hotel consists of several buildings, with the new building and the old building (also renovated) being connected in the main building. The children loved walking through the whole hotel and trying out the different paths. It was a bit confusing at first, but after a longer stay I realised more and more how well thought-out the concept is. Everything was also tidy and clean. Down to the smallest detail: even the pencils were sharpened again in the morning 😄 (I wonder which poor dog has to do this ungodly task every day... and I apologise for the language 🙈) What I found a little unkind next to all the sensations in the hotel was the teen lounge, but surely the people in charge will think of something nice for it, so that adults also want to play a round of pool in the evening. The children still had fun, especially in the Kids Club, in the bouncy castle outside the door or in the playground right next to the restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant - my little highlight ❤️ - the food was fantastic. There was nothing that wasn't delicious and the lovely restaurant staff sweetened my stay and have my fullest appreciation. I wish the whole Felsenhøf team all the best and thank them for the wonderful time.

We have already stayed in several children's hotels. I have to say that the Felsenhof is really excellent value for money. The hotel is modern and well-equipped, the pool was the perfect temperature for children and longer swimming sessions. The food was excellent, the service on point, the staff helpful and very friendly! Our son (aged 5) had a great time, there were lots of varied play options. It's great that you can eat lunch until 4.00 pm. So when you come back to the hotel from an excursion, you can still eat and don't have to wait so long for dinner. All in all, we felt very comfortable and will definitely go back again.

This was our second time there and we were completely satisfied again. Everyone in the family got their money's worth, with pools, sauna, cycling etc. There is a large selection of different buffets and snacks throughout the day. In the evening, a 6-course menu where everyone in the family found something for themselvesEveryone was very friendly and totally hard-working. This was our fourth time there and, as always, it was super nice. The hotel has become really nice since the remodelling last year and as always everyone is very friendly. The location is very good, I think very central for excursions.

Very friendly service, whether in the restaurant, bar or reception. Very nice and large room with balcony. A wide range of activities for children and relaxing wellness for adults. There's something for everyone here and the food is to everyone's taste. Pictures say more than words. We would love to come back.

Fantastic service including transfer to the children's ski course, great! All the waiters in the restaurant were very friendly, they recognised us from last year. You won't find so many facilities for this value for money anywhere else. Already booked for next year!

This was our 6th time at the Felsenhof and we will be back! The Felsenhof team is always friendly, the kids love the kids club & everything there is for the kids! The food is always very tasty & varied! If you have any questions or requests, someone is always there.

We (family with 5 year old son) stayed at the Felsenhof for a week during Minis Week and were completely satisfied. Wellness, food and drink offers, ski bus connection, childcare,... everything was excellent and as advertised in detail on the homepage. In particular, the small lift directly at the hotel, including free tobogganing, allows plenty of free time in the snow. We were particularly impressed by the friendly staff every day. All requests, especially for food, were taken into account. Not unimportant when on holiday with a child. We will be back in the summer.

Super friendly service, underground car park, charging stations, ski depot, mega wellness area, infinity pool, food always delicious and varied, some drinks included, full board and an afternoon snack. We had the ski pass with us and the price was really good. There is a ski bus to the lift without any problems. However, we always travelled just under 1 km by car. Car parking always available. Highly recommended!

4* hotel with all the comfort you could wish for; hotel was only extended in 2024; cleanliness top; service and staff friendly and helpful; we felt very comfortable during our holiday week!!! Location in the district of Flachau - approx. 5 min. with the ski bus to the valley station/Flachau (bus stops directly in front of the hotel); the connection is great! There is a small practice slope/ski slope next to the hotel

We can't think of any place where our holiday at the Hotel Felsenhof could have been better. From the modern room with a great view of the mountains, to the varied and extremely tasty food at any time of day, to the beautiful wellness area and the loving childcare - all in all a perfect stay. We would love to come back!

Children 6 and 3 years had so much fun in the childcare, in the baby pool, in the pool, in the outdoor pool, children's playroom everything was great. We wanted for nothing, everything was thought of. The sauna was really nice at all times. The food was so delicious and there was something for everyone. The staff were so kind and courteous. Everyone was so child-friendly. The new playground is really great for the children and also for the parents who can have a chat over a coffee :). Thank you for this great time. All-round carefree package. 100% recommendable. Senior boss always there too. TOP.
